I have several Amiga computers in my collection, and the majority are used on a regular basis. While the capabilities of the Amiga platform have long been surpassed by more modern systems I still find I get a lot of enjoyment from using the Amiga.
Amiga Applications Tutorials...
While the Amiga was home to a massive and diverse games library, it also boasted a huge collection of serious applications, too. The problem these days comes with using these applications. If you don't have access to the manuals or have a tutorial to work through to help you get to grips with it they can be almost impenetrable to use.
In an effort to rectify this I've started to go through the serious Amiga magazines released back in the day, listing the tutorials that were published in them along with their issue number and page number. While this is a work in progress, I'm making regular updates to this reference document. The tutorial listing is in Google Sheets format meaning you can filter the document on subject matter or magazine source. Each record in the spreadsheet has a link to the relevant issue of the magazine kindly stored in the Internet Archive.
Compiling this document has really reminded me how high the standard of writing was in these magazines. They go into so much detail and would have been essential reading before the days of the internet becoming mainstream.
